Doug Pruitt is confident, cheap, and wrong about almost everything, often all three at once. He has kept the thermostat at 68 since 2009, believes every problem can be fixed with duct tape and a strongly worded letter, and has been at war with the Bramblewood Court HOA for eleven years. His best friend and arch-rival is Marcus next door, and the two of them compete over grills, lawns and Christmas lights with the intensity of an Olympic final. Underneath it all he would do anything for his family. He just wants them to wear a sweater while he does it.
